Production Planning, O.E.E. monitoring and Planned Maintenance in one system
In today's environment, the demand on factories to perform at the optimum output and minimum unit cost to compete with market demands is ever increasing. As part of this challenge, factories need to understand, more than ever, the information that is being collected by the machines in the factory and what effect the equipment is having on the performance of the production output.
In order to realise the full factory potential, we have developed a system which is a fully integrated production and maintenance module. The module can also work as a standalone system.
The main benefit of having one fully integrated system is to allow the site to understand what is happening across the two main functions within the business, on a continuous basis.
Unlike conventional systems, we have configured the system to use one standard data acquisition card for the complete factory. This card has the ability to collect up to four hundred channels of data from the PLC systems, production processes and any other process related sensors available. All of this data is then collected and uploaded into a web-based server for review and assessment by the site against the lines or function locations.
The downtime can be recorded by two methods: the first being the automated data collecting being carried out by the installed hardware and the second being the manual entry of information from the line operators.
